Note to self: I still owe features and tags (the internet here seems to hate DA and it's really slow, sorry guys)

I finally finished the Miss Prince cover.  I did most of it last year in around November/December, but I didn't feel like the Lucinda I did back then was up to scratch, so I redrew her and I'm much happier with how she turned out this time.  The typeset manuscript is also checked and re-checked and that means the whole thing can go for an advance print run, and it should also finally appear on Amazon for pre-order.

YES.

YEESSSS.

That is three years of work finally completed.  FINALLY.

I am so happy.

Also this means I can get on with other things, like the things I owe people.  I'm going to try and get done the stuff I owe this week while I'm away (i have the weekdays free to just work or whatever til like, 5pm.)

So if I owe you something, like a contest prize you didn't call in yet, now is a good time!   Of course if you still don't know what you want that's fine too.

I'm working on a complicated Facebook banner right now, and I'm mostly going to work on that, but I'll take a break to do more easily completed things too.

I also have to finish the Miss Prince bookmark and design a banner in time for London, but there's no real rush there at least.

Finally I intend to try and get the pencils done for the next VDBiF (though I can't scan til I get home).

So hopefully you'll see more work from me here.

Though, I don't know, I have this strong desire to finish book 2 now, I'm 3/4s of the way done and I really do want to get the first draft finished, darn it.  Maybe I will use April for that.

SO anyways just y'know there will be stuff, lots and lots of stuff, is what I am saying in essence.

Thanks for reading!

Alicia

'I'll get a job', she'd thought. 'Earn my own ticket,' she'd thought. Lucinda's parents had agreed that it was a good idea. 'It'll teach you some responsibility,' they'd said.

Lucinda was currently staring down a dragon, dressed as a man, on only her first day in gainful employment. She suspected her parents would not think it such a good idea if they knew.

~ from Miss Prince

--------------
"Ambrosia. The Drink of the Gods. Thick, syrupy and vanilla flavoured, for some reason. It also contains enough calories to kill a mortal on the spot, so it's just as well that mortals are no longer mortals by the time they finish drinking it. Like Seralina, for example. She hadn't really meant to become a god. She hadn't taken the warning 'This will make of ye a god' seriously. It was her general policy not to trust any claim beyond 'It tastes all right, really'. She certainly didn't trust anything that sounded made-up or used words like 'dynamic'. Going round trusting words like 'dynamic' could get you into trouble. As it turned out, so could ignoring warning labels."
