A follow up to:
Sulky Hugo by PuddingValkyrie

As I said, Hugo ran away from home when he was fourteen.  He ended up on Calypso where he started work as a cabin boy and worked his way up the ranks and finally got access to maps and a way home.
He's 21 here.  Obviously he has changed a lot since he was a boy.

EDIT: I kind of forgot to add this because it was 1:30am and I was tired.
But yeah.  Rich kids tend to call their mothers 'mama' on Anima.  As the child of a disowned noble woman, Hugo is a rich kid who has no money.  He spoke much differently when he was a child.  Coming back after seven years of being away (when he finally located a door back home) his eye, hair colour and speech pattern were much different, so that's why his mother had such trouble recognising him.  Not to mention he was quite a scrawny little boy.
If he hadn't been shielding himself from a possible broom assault though, he would have pointed to his fangs.  They're actually harder to see than I make out in the comics.  After all, you probably need to know who is a vampire, yes?  In the books you might not notice someone is a vampire straight away unless they're doing dead-giveaway things, like the accent, wearing a cape or living in a spooky castle.  Or their last name is 'Stollenheim'.  Or they're Tyrian.  Stop grinning at everyone, Tyrian.  It took Lucinda like, 10 seconds to figure you out.
Despite the fact that it looks like you can't throw a rock without hitting a Stollenheim, vampires are actually quite rare and quite spread out, so the chances of knowing more than one if you aren't involved with the Stollenheim family life are very low.
