Yeah, Neens didn't want to get married either.  And yes, as has been implied before, Tyrian's grandpa WAS a jerk.

The only reason Tyrian isn't married yet is that Nareena remembers what it was like being forced into it.  As it happened, she did end up with a husband she liked... more on that later.  

Seems like royals never want to get married.  Maybe she should engage him to someone he reeeeally doesn't want to marry and oh wait they already did that.

The reason she is bugging him about it is that as she got older, she realised that it was important for the royal lineage/not starting wars oh wait that happened.
