Hmm, this ended up a lot of text and cheating...

But yeah. Fandom snobbery. It annoys me.

As you can see, I have my gripes with this stuff too, but.. these things keep fandoms alive, and help them grow and evolve.. sometimes that can bring bad things, but it can bring good things too.

Without stuff like fanfiction, fanart, etc etc, a fandom would die.

So I don't care if you make fan characters, I don't care if you ship people and I don't care if you want to mentally date anyone.

That goes for my work and the work of anything I'm a fan of.
If you don't like shipping, don't look at shipping stuff. Don't like FCs? Don't look at 'em. Not that hard. I mean, some of that stuff annoys me too, but people do this stuff for fun. You wouldn't want people to spoil YOUR fun, right?

The only thing I'll say about this regarding my own work is that I don't want to know about anything NSFW. So don't show me that -.- But whatever, to anything else. If you get stuff wrong I'll just laugh. Once your work is out there, it's open to interpretation... yeah, I know, sometimes you look at fan stuff and go 'Are we really watching the same show..?' but that's just how fandoms work -shrug-
The only thing I'm really not keen on and don't want people to do is adoptables(based on my work, I mean). For various reasons.

I just saw a bunch of stamps I thought were rather mean spirited lately...

Many thanks to my awesome watchers for giving me ideas to Mary-Sue up the fan character XD 'Goddess of Moonbeams' is a reference to a bit in Eggs Butter Sugar and Disaster where Sera nearly cuts Hermes' ear off, and he says if she had it probably would have floated down the river and become the god of moonbeams or something...

Then there's some Miss Prince tomfoolery. I asked for crack pairings... the 'best' one I got was Tyrian and Lucinda. I chose that one because not only would it not happen - Tyrian kinda creeps Lucinda out a bit and he sees her as a child - but it would cause maximum emotional trauma, drama and disbelief amongst the rest of the cast XD

Then for the OC X Canon. I asked for volunteers for this, since I thought it would lose the impact if I used one of my own characters... but yeah. You wanna make out with my characters? I'd be flattered if anyone liked them that much, so you can go right ahead. o.o
