Heimdall is like the Superman of the Norse pantheon. He has uncanny eyesight and hearing and has the power of foresight. He can also shapeshift. He's the son of the nine Wave Maidens and an unknown father.. probably Odin. Heimdall is also supposed to be very attractive; second only in fact, to Balder, who in EBSD is already dead, making Heimdall officially the prettiest. X3 As I said when I did readings in class of Heimdall's description, "It's not my fault, mythology said so."

In EBSD he has a great fondness for Freya. He did after all, get back her necklace from Loki when it was stolen on Odin's orders. He and Loki do not get on - they were prophesised to kill each other at Ragnarok.

Fun Fact: Heimdall's description was different in the advance copy. He was originally dressed more like a watchman or guard, since he guards the Bifrost bridge.
