Character evolution

I saw someone do this the other day, and Tyrian has changed a lot over the years...

2003: My first book... He was the descendant of a vampire god. I only have a description of his face and.. it's a weird description. I mention he has a 'straight nose'. Why would I mention such a mundane detail o.o He didn't turn up before I stopped writing it, so I don't know what his personality was like.

2004: I tried to rewrite my first book into something less dumb. I got better, but it was still pretty bleh. Tyrian was a 'god' (that is, a very powerful nature spirit) and personification of the Night. Maia (now fairy queen of the Light Realm) was his sister, the Day. He was more of an Edward Cullen like character personality-wise. He was a spirit, so he didn't have much interest in relationships and all that. I wanted to slap him a lot. Haha, I was reading one bit and he was actually LOUNGING on a BUS STOP. And I don't mean one with a seat or anything, just the pole. I don't know how he managed that.

2006: I tried... again... to rewrite the book into something that didn't suck and this time I got Tyrian something like right~ His personality was much more like it is currently, but without the fairy culture influences. He was still the personification of the night. He obtained sunglasses in this version. 'Gods' had no pupils and could be spotted by this... so he wore them to not freak people out.

2012: I'm really not sure if vampire fairy king is better or worse than spirit of the night X3 Tyrian and his sister along with the rest of the important cast got transplanted into the Otherworlds and the Spirit World became Fairyland. But because of various plot thingies I couldn't figure out how to make the plot work like that... so I thought 'What if he was a Stollenheim?' and everything was fixed X3 I'm sure you're familiar with him by now, so I won't go on...
